Join us for a discussion on the issues chartered professional accountants see in estate matters, as well as how building a comprehensive team can mitigate those issues.  Included will be real life cases that have been encountered and remedied.

Matt Sharp is a partner at Structure Chartered Professional Accountants and his practise is focused on estate planning and compliance, trusts, holding corporations, complex corporate groups and high net-worth individuals.  He has a particular interest in assisting clients' external wealth management teams with tax-efficient transactions and asset structuring.  Matt has presented on tax matters to the Legal Education Society of Alberta as well as various wealth management teams and trust companies.

Janice Shin is a Tax Manager at Structure Chartered Professional Accountants and is passionate about working with multiple generations of high-net worth and ultra-high-net worth families to help them with tax planning, including wealth and/or business succession, asset structuring and corporate reorganization.  Janice is focused on educating next generation groups and female family members about tax-efficient transaction planning and compliance matters.  She is a true believer that a team-based approach provides the best solution for the client when different professionals work together as a team.
